May the¹ Almighty help and grant success to each of the Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs,

and also to each of their parents,

brothers and sisters and the entire family —

in everything they need,

both in material and spiritual matters.

In addition —

of course —

to all the blessings that were mentioned

(from what is written in the books)

in the previous talks² —

there should also be a special blessing for the Bar Mitzvahs,

since they have merited and reached the state of "and you shall be strong and become a man"³,

they have become obligated and privileged in the study of Torah and fulfillment of mitzvos from the Torah —

may this add even more to the Almighty's blessings in everything they need.

And also in the blessings for those who raised them with good deeds to Bar Mitzvah,

and will raise them further and higher to Torah and marriage —

that the entire house be blessed with all the blessings connected with the fulfillment of mitzvos,

and especially the fulfillment of mitzvos from the Torah,

and go "from strength to strength"⁴.

And especially that they will add further in the mitzvah of tzedakah,

in the mission of the mitzvah of tzedakah —

which will be done by each of the Bar Mitzvahs,

and also their relatives who are here.

And those who are already Bar Mitzvah have presumably fulfilled —

and those who have yet to become Bar Mitzvah will certainly fulfill —

the good custom that has spread recently,

that on the day of Bar Mitzvah the Bar Mitzvah and his parents should give tzedakah.

And if it is Shabbos —

one should give it both on Erev Shabbos and on Motzaei Shabbos.

And all these matters,

and especially the mitzvah of tzedakah,

which is equivalent to all the mitzvos⁵,

should add even more in bringing down all blessings,

Until the primary and inner blessing of the entire Jewish people —

that very soon we should go in the true and complete redemption,

and since additional Jews have become obligated in Torah and its mitzvos —

may this complete the "great assembly shall return here"⁶,

That each of the Bar Mitzvahs,

educators and teachers —

should go very soon to greet Moshiach Tzidkeinu.

And especially through their adding further,

and in a manner of ascent in holiness⁷,

in the study of Torah and fulfillment of its mitzvos,

And also prepare to read and study the parshah that comes after the coming Shabbos —

the parshah of the Giving of the Torah,

in Parshas Yisro,

And before this —

to learn from the coming Shabbos itself,

which is also the fifteenth of Shevat,

the New Year for Trees⁸ —

that every Jew and all Jews

(and especially since he has become Bar Mitzvah),

who is "man is a tree of the field"⁹ —

must constantly grow in all matters of Torah and its mitzvos¹⁰,

And also produce fruits —

with the additional Jews who have become great in Torah and its mitzvos,

And through them —

also add in the blessings of all who brought them to this state.

And all together,

"as one man with one heart"¹⁴,

receive the Torah

(about which it speaks in the upcoming Parshas Yisro).

And receive it with joy and a good heart,

which is connected with Parshas Shirah —

the parshah of the coming Shabbos,

And in general, serve the Almighty with joy and a good heart¹⁵,

and in a manner of increasing light,

ascent in holiness.
