English translation — ברכת כ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א להתלמידים שיחיו, ערב יום הכיפורים לפני כל נדרי, ה'תשד"מ

And He spoke… speak… He will bless you… He will shine… He will lift… and they will place My name… and I will bless them¹.

May the Almighty bless each one of you and all of you together,

among all of Israel and every Jew,

with the threefold blessing written in the Torah by Moshe Your servant,

and may this be drawn down throughout the entire year,

and also in the years thereafter.

And especially in the special mission that you have

— in addition to the blessings and matters about which we spoke immediately after the Minchah prayer,

which is indeed the most elevated prayer²,

and particularly the Minchah prayer of Erev Shabbos Kodesh and also Minchah of Erev Yom HaKadosh,

Yom HaKippurim —

the matter of "Neros Leha'ir"³,

which our Rabbis, our Nesi'im, gave the blessing,

success, and the necessary strengths for this

(one only needs to bring it from potential to actual,

and with joy and a good heart and with utmost perfection) —

that it should be a year of Torah;

and a year of prayer — Torah preceded by the service of prayer⁴;

and in Torah itself — the completeness of Torah,

both in the revealed aspect and in the inner aspect of Torah,

which in our generation has been revealed in the teachings of Chassidus;

and all this preceded by the matter of Teshuvah,

which Teshuvah causes that all deeds

(deeds of mitzvos)

should become "good deeds" and "illuminating"⁵,

and to do all these matters with proper health in physicality and proper health in spirituality.

You should arouse all those whom you can reach,

and especially yeshivah students,

that they too should become "Neros Leha'ir",

and all together — further increase the "Ner Mitzvah VeTorah Ohr"⁶,

to illuminate the last days of the darkness of exile,

until it will be actualized

(still in the final time of exile)

"and for all the Children of Israel there was light in their dwellings"⁷,

and very soon these days — the days of exile — will be transformed into days of redemption,

the true and complete redemption through Mashiach Tzidkeinu.

And one will go "and his Torah study in his hand"⁸ — both the revealed aspect and Chassidus⁹ — and with sublime and complete Teshuvah and with joy and a good heart,

together with the Jews whom they aroused to Teshuvah — "a great congregation shall return here"¹⁰,

to our holy land,

"a land which… the eyes of Hashem your G-d are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year"¹¹,

with all the blessings that exist in the treasury of blessings and in the source of blessings and even higher¹²,

each of which begins with a letter of the Alef-Beis of Lashon HaKodesh

(as examples¹³ were also mentioned from each letter in the words after Minchah prayer and adjacent to it),

and may all the blessings descend in a good way, visibly and revealed, below ten handbreadths,

speedily, in our actual times,

in these present days of exile,

and this will further hasten the "Achishenah"¹⁴,

and the "with the clouds of heaven"¹⁵ — all Jews together,

"with our youths and with our elders… with our sons and with our daughters"¹⁶,

"a great congregation",

"and their silver and their gold with them"¹⁷ — the service of Ahavah and Yirah¹⁸,

which is

(including and worth)

a root for all positive commandments and all prohibitions¹⁹,

which includes the entire Torah and all the mitzvos,

"and He looked into the Torah and created the world"²⁰ — the entire world with the entire order of Hishtalshelus,

and go to the completeness of the people,

with the completeness of Torah,

in our complete land,

and with joy and a good heart,

"and I will grant peace in the land"²¹,

and grant peace and victory also in the heavenly retinue and in the earthly retinue — "He makes peace in His heavenly retinue and in His earthly retinue"²²,

And then there will be "and this is the blessing with which Moshe blessed"²³ — "and they shall awaken and sing, dwellers of the dust"²⁴ and Moshe and Aharon with them²⁵ — that all these blessings will be in a manner of "Zos",

showing with a finger and saying "Zeh"²⁶

(Zos),

and especially when you will add in "Zos HaTorah",

and "Zos HaTorah Adam"²⁷ — building up every Jew,

"Adam" from "Adameh LaElyon"²⁸,

that he should become a Torah-existence in all the details and in all the interpretations and in all the matters —

then one will have "the Torah that Moshe commanded us is an inheritance of the congregation of Yaakov"²⁹,

and one will merit very soon "a new Torah from Me shall go forth"³⁰ and to study the Torah of Mashiach from the mouth of Mashiach.

And especially since this year is a complete year³¹ and a full year,

a year of Ibbur — may the moon also be rectified,

may there be that which "they are destined to be renewed like it"³²,
